About This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RSGE (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information for the Randle Smith Golf Extravaganza. RSGE is a privately organized golf event for a group of adult friends. The operator of this website and event is Richard Reed. If you have any privacy questions, you may contact us at reed2assoc@gmail.com.

Information We Collect

  • Registration information: first and last name, email address, optional phone number, registration type (for example, “Brother Playing Golf”), and any notes you voluntarily submit.
  • Payment records: the payment amount and a manually recorded payment status (such as “pending” or “confirmed”).
  • Team and cart assignments made by the organizer.
  • Event photographs and captions that you upload to the gallery.
  • Contact-form and privacy-request messages you submit to us.
  • Administrator account information for users with administrative access.
  • Technical, security, device, IP-address, and log information that may be automatically generated by Base44 when necessary to operate, secure, and administer the website.
  • Necessary authentication or browser-storage information required for website operation and administrator login.

Sources of Information

  • You provide registration, photo, contact, and privacy-request information directly to us.
  • Administrators add payment status, team, and cart assignments.
  • Base44 and its supporting infrastructure generate technical, security, and log information.

How We Use Information

  • To register participants, organize teams and carts, confirm payments, plan the event, and communicate about the event.
  • To display certain information publicly, as described below.
  • To respond to contact and privacy requests.
  • To administer the website and administrator accounts and to maintain security.

What Stays Private and What Is Displayed Publicly

Private (restricted to authorized event administrators and service providers): email address, telephone number, notes, payment amount and detailed payment information, internal tracking fields, administrator account information, and the consent records described in this policy.

Intentionally displayed publicly: golfer names, registration categories, team assignments, cart assignments, and registration/payment confirmation status labels (for example, “Payment Required” or “Registration Confirmed”).

Important: Public information may be viewed, copied, downloaded, or indexed by other people or search engines. Because public information is displayed on the website, we cannot control what others do with it once it has been displayed.

Hosting and Service Providers

  • Registration data is hosted using Base44.
  • Administrative registration information is synchronized to a restricted Google Sheet. The Google Sheet is set to Restricted access.
  • Google and Base44 act as service providers and process information under their own terms and policies.
  • These providers may process information in locations where they operate.

Payment Services

Payments are completed outside this website using the payment methods and instructions displayed on the website (for example, Zelle, Apple Cash, Cash App, or check). The website does not receive your bank-account numbers, card numbers, passwords, PINs, or payment-app credentials. An administrator manually verifies payments.

When We Disclose Information

  • We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
  • We do not currently sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
  • We do not currently send marketing emails.
  • We do not currently use automated decisions or profiling.

Security

We use reasonable security measures, including restricting access to registration data and keeping the Google Sheet restricted. However, no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Data Retention

We retain information only as reasonably needed for event administration, records, dispute resolution, security, and applicable legal obligations. Exact retention periods have not yet been formally adopted and remain subject to organizer review. A proposed retention schedule is available to the organizer. We do not activate automatic deletion without the organizer’s approval.

Your Rights and Choices

  • You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of optional consent.
  • We may reasonably verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
  • Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary or legally required.
  • Withdrawing public-display consent cannot necessarily reverse copies already downloaded or independently posted by others.
  • Applicable privacy rights may vary by location. You may contact the appropriate privacy regulator when applicable.

How to Submit a Privacy Request

You may submit a privacy request using our Privacy Request page, or by emailing reed2assoc@gmail.com. We may reasonably verify your identity before responding.

Children

This event is presently used by adults. There is no separate website age-verification process. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13.
